Nursing Theory 

To understand the characteristics of the Nursing Science and the basic concepts focused on person, environment, health and nursing. To identify the various developed nursing theories and the relationships among nursing theories, research, and nursing practice.

Nursing Research 

This research course focus on examining and evaluating research studies addressing clinically significant problems or practices in their own areas of nursing expertise. This courses promote research competencies including defining researchable nursing problems, identifying variables, analyzing data, assessing research studies, utilizing research findings, and developing research proposals.

Pharmacology 

This course focuses on the analysis and utilization of principles of pharmacology and pharmacokinetics for the purpose of planning, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic pharmacological interventions in nursing practice. The unique characteristics of special populations related to therapeutic needs, as well as drug distribution, absorption, metabolism, and excretion are defined.

Role and Poliy of Advanced Practice Nurse 

Through this course student can understand responsibility, duty and role of advanced practice nurse. Also student can define issues related to advanced practice nurse's role development, moreover can get ability of analyzing and participating health related policy development as advanced practice nurse.

Advanced Health Assessment 

This course focuses on the development of skills and techniques for advanced role performance of complete health histories and physical/psychosocial assessments. It will be taught from theory and research-based perspectives. Systematic approach will be practiced in the laboratory. Clinical decisions based on the assessment findings will be emphasized.

Pathophysiology 

The emphasis of this course will be the understanding of an advanced knowledge on pathophysiology of human body. It will prepare advanced practice nurses to understand the mechanism underlying the disease process, its clinical manifestations, and rational therapies

Nursing Science 

This course covers students who had research training in social and behavioral sciences learned the theories in those fields but also came to appreciate the importance of theories as both genesis and products of research process.
Students who complete this course will become familiar with the understanding of nursing philosophy and nursing theory. It is also expected that the students can articulate nursing as a kind of science.

Theory Development in Nursing 

This course is focus on the development of a conceptual framework based on knowledge synthesized from empirical evidence.

Quantitative Nursing Research Methodology 

This course (NUR 661) is designed to provide the processes of nursing research on learning and experience on the understanding nursing research and applying nursing research to nursing practice. It will focus on the development of nursing research proposal using quantitative research methodology.

Qualitative Research Methodology 

To learn the philosophical background and the various qualitative approaches in order to explore the essence of the lived experiences among the nursing clients and to develop the nursing theory that is applied to the nursing situations.

Dissertation Seminar 

This course was designed to develop ability about accomplishment of doctoral dissertation through read and understand own favorite field nursing journal, study and experience research process. The goal of this course is student can determine research subject and make research proposal.

Seminar in Advanced Nursing 

This course is designed to provide the student with an understand health care environment and health policy. And this course is explores the basic concept of health promotion and discusses current trends and issues of health and health promotion.
In addition, students will have review the theoretical approaches underlying various nursing issues and current trends in health policy related to health promotion.

Advanced Emergency Nursing1 

This is the first of four sequential courses which provide the students with the basic knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of the basics of emergency nursing care. The course will emphasize on the way by which the students can identify the common emergency cases as well as the therapeutic nursing intervention of such cases including the advanced life support (ALS). The student will engage in beginning implementation of the roles inherent in advanced nursing practice.

Advanced Emergency Nursing2 

This is the second of four sequential courses which provide the students with the basic knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of the basics of emergency nursing care. The course will emphasize on the way by which the students can identify the common emergency cases and assess, diagnose and manage the emergency care of client system across the child and adult lifespan with selected episodic health alteration.

Trauma and Community Emergency Nursing 

This course will provide the students with the advanced knowledge and practical aspect of the emergency nursing care in the department of gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, urology, oncology, skin, sensory, psychiatry, and dental systems.
The course will emphasize the critical thinking by which the students can identify the emergent problems, and apply appropriate nursing interventions of such cases. Also, the student will understand ethical issues and advocate patient's right.

Disaster Nursing

This course will provide the students with the advanced knowledge and practical aspect of the emergency nursing care to the patients with acute and/or severe complex and/or multiple trauma. The course will emphasize the critical thinking by which the students can identify the emergent problems, and apply appropriate nursing interventions of such cases. Also, the student will understand the disaster nursing systems and the appropriate application process in community-based crisis situations.

Advanced Emergency Nursing Practice1 

This course will provide that students engage in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and care planning activities for client systems with health pattern alterations. The focus of the clinical experience is on the selection and implementation of extant therapeutic nursing interventions, the beginning design of newly required therapeutic interventions, and discernment of measurable outcome criteria for both. The student will engage in beginning implementation of the roles inherent in advanced nursing practice.

Advanced Emergency Nursing Practice2 

This course is the second of four sequential clinical courses in the Emergency nursing advanced practice nurse program.
Students will engage in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and care planning activities for client systems with health pattern alterations. The focus of the clinical experience is on the selection and implementation of extant therapeutic nursing interventions, the beginning design of newly required therapeutic interventions, and discernment of measurable outcome criteria for both. The student will engage in beginning implementation of the roles inherent in advanced nursing practice. Clinical experiences will take place in various environmental contexts including acute care and, ambulatory care.

Advanced Emergency Nursing Practice3 

This practicum course will provide that students engage in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and care planning activities for client with emergent health problems in the department of gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, and oncology. The focus of the clinical experience is on the selection and implementation of extant therapeutic nursing interventions, and discernment of measurable outcome criteria by using critical thinking approach.

Advanced Emergency Nursing Practice4 

This practicum course will provide that students engage in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and care planning activities for patients with complex and/or multiple trauma and neurologic problems. Disaster management system will be practiced in this course. The focus of the clinical experience is on the selection and implementation of extant therapeutic nursing interventions, and discernment of measurable outcome criteria by using critical thinking approach.

Introduction to Home Healthcare Nursing 

To understand the characteristics and the development process of the home care nursing service and to acquire the knowledge about the home care and the capacity of the home care nurse.

Advanced Home Healthcare Nursing1 

To foster the knowledge about the diseases in respiratory, musculoskeletal and nervous system and capacity to perform a role as home care nurse. To develop the knowledge and ability to perform management of mechanical ventilator, foley catheter, and clients' affective response.

Advanced Home Healthcare Nursing2 

To foster the knowledge about the diseases in hematologic & urinary system and several cancers, and the capacity to perform a role as home care nurse. To develop the knowledge and ability to perform a therapeutic relationship and evidence-based practice.

Advanced Home Healthcare Nursing3 

To foster the knowledge about the GI disease and cancer(breast cancer, cervical carcinoma), and the capacity to perform a role as home care nurse. To develop the knowledge and ability to perform a injury management, rehabilitation, pain control, nutrition support, and hospice care.

Health Education 

The purpose of this course is to increase students' ability to apply effective counseling strategies for patients, caregivers and family members aimed to facilitate patients recovery and to promote health behaviors.

Advanced Home Healthcare Nursing Practice2 

Based on the knowledge by 'Advanced Home Care NursingⅠ' class, to practice the ability to solve health problems among home care clients and their families by comprehensive approaches. To focus on the clients with respiratory, nervous, and musculoskeletal diseases and on management of mechanical ventilator, foley catheter, and clients' affective response.

Introduction to Gerontological Nursing 

This course provides a general understanding of epidemiology of aging, focusing on the process of aging and its relationship to physical, mental, and social health status and not exclusively upon disease among the elderly. In addition, this course develops understanding the long-term care facility in terms of its major organizational structure and seeks to expand the student’s knowledge of the concepts and principles of organization and management to long-term care facility setting.

Long-term Care for the Elderly 

This course provides students with understanding the concept, necessity, principle and strategies of the long term care for the elderly and putting them into nursing into practice.

Health Promotion for the Elderly 

This course provides students with planning the disease prevention and health promotion strategies focused on the daily lives of the elderly.

Introduction to Geriatric Nursing Practice 

This practicum course will provide that students engage in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, care planning and interventions for long-term care patients. In addition, this course will examine the long-term care facility in terms of its major organizational structure and seeks to expand the student’s knowledge of the concepts and principles of organization and management to long-term care facility setting.

Practice of Long-term Care for the Elderly 

Based on the knowledge by 'Long-term Care for the Elderly' class, this practicum course provides that students understand the co-relations among the facilities, communities and the public health, practice the long term care for the elderly with case studies and found simulation facilities with the long-term care services.

Practice of Health Promotion for the Elderly 

Based on the knowledge by 'Health Promotion for the Elderly' class, this practicum course provides that students will understand the health and disease management status of the elderly, plan health promotion programs for exercise, nutrition, fall prevention, urinary incontinence, depression and cognitive enhancement on the community basis, and practice them as geriatric nursing practitioners.

Advanced Adult Health Nursing1 

The focus of this course is the application of theories, concepts, evidence, issues and trends in caring based on pathophysiology, health assessment, and differential diagnoses of the major health problems, and nursing diagnosis for an adult populations with respiratory and cardiovascular system health care needs. Emphasis is on the role of the professional nurse in health promotion and maintenance, illness care, and rehabilitation of an adult population in a variety of clinical settings

Advanced Adult Health Nursing2 

On the basis of the full understanding of adult pathophysiological functions of gastrointestinal and urogenital systems, this course provides that students are able to understand and derive nursing diagnosis through health assessment and diagnostic tests and take care of the patients with comprehensive and professional nursing management skills and knowledge as advanced adult practice nurses

Advanced Adult Health Nursing3 

The focus of this course is the application of theories, concepts, evidence, issues and trends in caring based on pathophysiology, health assessment, and differential diagnoses of the major health problems, and nursing diagnosis for an adult populations with endocrine and hematoimmunological system health care needs. Emphasis is on the role of the professional nurse in health promotion and maintenance, illness care, and rehabilitation of an adult population in a variety of clinical settings.

Advanced Adult Health Nursing4 

The focus of this course is the application of theories, concepts, evidence, issues and trends in caring based on pathophysiology, health assessment, and differential diagnoses of the major health problems, and nursing diagnosis for an adult populations with nervous, musculoskeletal and sensimeter system health care needs. Emphasis is on the role of the professional nurse in health promotion and maintenance, illness care, and rehabilitation of an adult population in a variety of clinical settings.

Seminar in Advanced Clinical Specialties 

This course enables students to manage cases of adult populations with an integrated understanding of them. The focus of this study is to enhance the ability of the optimal diagnostic decision making in solving the health problems in various areas of the human body on the basis of the subjective and the objective data.

Advanced Adult Health Nursing Practicum1 

The purpose of this course is to provide students with an immersion experience in the ANP role with adult populations in a selected area of nursing practice. The focus of the course is to develop the ability to apply evidence based information in the design, implementation and evaluation of nursing care activities, nursing practice standards and norms, and achievement of optimal health outcomes. The student should participate in activities that include the development of evidenced based guidelines, or protocols; guiding the education of other nursing personnel to improve patient outcomes; consultation with disciplines, coaching of patient, families, and nurses; and implementing practices that improve quality and promote cost-effective outcomes as a researcher, educator, advocator, and leader.

Advanced Adult Health Nursing Practicum2 

The purpose of this course is to provide students with professional knowledge and skills in the field to manage the adults with health problems in endocrine, hematoimmunological, nervous, musculoskeletal and sensimeter system as ANPs, researchers, educators, advisers, collaborators and leaders.

Advanced Adult Health Nursing Practicum3 

The purpose of this course is to provide students with professional knowledge and skills in the field to manage the health problems with detailed specialized clinical areas as ANPs, researchers, educators, advisers, collaborators and leaders.

Advanced Nursing Practice 

This course provides the students with opportunities to practice clinical application of theoretical knowledge and evidence based guidelines in the management for various health problems.
Students will have determine their own specialty areas and practice clinical application of theoretical knowledge for various health problems in the selected health care settings.

Statistical Methodology 

This course is designed to assist the students to acquire an understanding of statistical methods. SPSS program will be introduced as a statistical analysis of nursing research problems. It will enable the students to plan for data analysis, descriptive and inferential analysis, prepare data for computer analysis and interpret the data.

Health Related Theory 

This course is designed to provide the student with an opportunity to build upon existing knowledge of a variety of health related models/ theories required for nursing research and practice. The content serves as a basis of understanding the rationale for a conceptual framework that is used in nursing research and practice. It will focus on the development of a theoretical/conceptual framework based on health related theory in the nursing research and practice.

Advanced Statistics 

This course provides advanced concepts of statistics for developing a research and analyzing collected data. The emphasis will be on the understanding the theoretical basis of advanced statistical techniques, appropriate use of the statistical software program, SPSS, and interpretation of the results.

Measurement and Instrumental Development 

This course will build on concrete knowledge and skills in the measurement and instrumental development of clinical nursing outcomes. It will include the understanding of measurement theories, evaluation of present tools, and development of a new scale for a specific concept.

Health Promotion Planning and Practice 

The purposes of this course are to provide students with an understanding of: 1) the concepts and theories related to the health promotion, 2) the trends of international health promotion policies, and 3) experimental trial to improve one’s health status through reviewing randomized trial controlled research papers

Nursing and Health Policy 

This course developes the ability to resolve issues of policy, strategy, and operation of health care organizations and systems. The student learns to diagnose management issues and problems, to identify alternative solution, and to evaluate the chosen solution.

Chronic Health Problem and Nursing 

This course focuses on tconcepts and theories of chronic heath management and provide a framework for nursing practice of the population with chronic health problems. Emphasis is placed on the holistic perspective of nursing practice in chronic illness.
In addition, students will have opportunities to understand the current health care systems within context of national welfare system, and explored the effective management strategies for patients with chronic health problems.

Introduction to Health Communication 

Health communiation is a much needed resource for the fast growing field of community health.

Exercise and Nursing Intervention 

This course is designed to enable the students to study the exercise theories and practicum for the clients who have chronic health problems and disabilities. This course focuses on understanding the exercise concept and the theoretical basis of the exercise in nursing , and on developing and applying the various exercise strategies and programs through the analysis and synthesis of research findings on populations across lifespan with special conditions in a variety of clinical settings.

Evidence-Based Practice and Practice Guideline 

This course focuses on preparing students to engage in evidence-based practice, providing the skills needed to critically evaluate new information that is available from research findings. Furthermore, the course provides skills for integrating this new information into the students own approach to practice.

Health Promotion and Health Behavior Change 

The purpose of this course is to increase students' ability to comprehend and apply effective nursing interventions for patients' self-management skills.
